Hamas condemns U.S. aid to Israel amid Gaza crisis

Khaled Qaddoumi, Hamas’ representative in Iran, has strongly criticized the U.S. Congress’ approval of an $8.8 billion aid package to Israel, calling it an endorsement of violence against Palestinian children.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Khaled Qaddoumi, Hamas’ representative in Iran, has strongly criticized the U.S. Congress’ approval of an $8.8 billion aid package to Israel, calling it an endorsement of violence against Palestinian children.

According to Iran Press, speaking at a specialized session titled “Current Developments in Gaza and the Future of Resistance” in Tehran on Sunday evening, Qaddoumi condemned the ongoing attacks on Gaza, which continue to cause severe humanitarian suffering.

He described the situation as dire, noting that it has been over 90 days without access to basic necessities such as water for Gazans. He also dismissed the initial 42-day ceasefire as ineffective, stating that any agreement without guarantees is meaningless.

“The resistance remains strong. We have no military weaknesses and will continue on the path of our martyrs,” Qaddoumi said, framing the conflict as a battle between right and falsehood. He argued that Israel’s position is so fragile that it resorts to violence and bloodshed as its only strategy.

Meanwhile, Gaza continues to experience relentless bombardment, including airstrikes, drone attacks, and artillery shelling. The blockade imposed by Israel has intensified starvation among the population, particularly affecting children.

The escalating situation has drawn widespread criticism from humanitarian organizations, as international backing for Israel’s military actions further complicates efforts to establish peace.

Qaddoumi’s remarks come amid growing concerns over Israel’s ongoing military campaign, which has resulted in a significant death toll and worsening conditions for civilians in Gaza.
